Do you know what a “Reveal Cake” is?  I didn’t until my cousin got one.  Here is the deal:  My cousin, Sonja, is pregnant.  When it was time to find out the sex of the baby, she had the doctor call her friend.  Her friend made her a “Reveal Cake”.  The cake was covered in white frosting and would either be pink or blue on the inside (depending on the sex of the baby).

So, Sonja just happened to receive her reveal cake during the week while her father (my dad’s brother) was visiting us.  We got to “Skype in” and watch Sonja, her husband and her group of friends cut into the “reveal cake”.  How exciting!  I thought this was such a fun and clever idea.  When she cut into the cake…. she saw pink!  Another baby girl.
