I laughed, I cried, and so will you

So, I babysat some kids yesterday whom I have babysat for years.  Well, they are not so much “kids” anymore.  The girl is 11 and the boy is 14 (I started babysitting them when they were 3 and 6).

Well the boy is now at the age of being interested in girls.  So, yesterday we went to the neighborhood pool, and his sister started teasing him:

“Don’t stare at all of the girls in the bikinis” she teased her brother.

At that moment, he turned to me: “You aren’t going to be wearing a bikini are you?”

My reply, “No, for your information I am not.  But what would be your problem with it?”  I teased.

He responded: “Well, let’s just say ‘Little Miss Mommy Body.’”

I yelled:  “Did you just call me ‘Little Miss Mommy Body’?????”

His response?????  “Well, the little was a bit optimistic.”

We laughed, I cried (on the inside ;)   )

He then tried to cover his tracks by saying that every mom suffers from “mommy body” and should wear a “mom-kini” that was a middle covered that says “work in progress”.

Finally, to try to make me feel better, he said: “Don’t worry, you will get your shape back just in time for your second child.”
