I would like to sell you…

Monday, April 20th, 2009
  • A wooden dining room table with 8 chairs.
  • Computer speakers with a sub.
  • Or, if you are not interested in purchasing any of those items, perhaps I can interest you in a free vacuum that needs some repair (motor still runs, something is just wrong inside).

Sleepy

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Yesterday I took my 3rd nap since Lily has been home with us.  Everyone says “sleep while baby sleeps”…  That doesn’t work for me.  I cannot nap, regardless of how tired I am.  What I get at night is all I get.  Hope Lily starts sleeping better at night soon!

Running out of blog post titles!

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

I have a rash on my face.  It started 2 days ago and has not gone away.  When I was in high school, I used to get a rash on my face about once every month or two.  The rash would stay for a few hours and go away (I always thought it was a “stress rash” — and still think it is).  Hopefully this goes away soon.

Andy ran about 15 miles yesterday!  His legs are sore, but he is doing better today than he thought he would.

That is all the news from our end.

I will leave you all with some photos:

Two Tooths

Sunday, April 12th, 2009

As I like to say in the baby voice: she has two wittle toofs!

What a cutie.  Her two bottom teeth are growing in.

We took her to an Easter Egg Hunt/Brunch this morning.  It was lots of fun.  She got to meet lots of new people and we got show off what an adorable happy baby we have.

She is still refusing to roll front-to-back when on a hard surface.  She is “inch worming” and you mustn’t leave her unsupervised on any elevated surface.

Sometimes I forget what I have already said or not so forgive me if I repeat myself.

Run, Fatboy, Run is a good movie!

Melissa:  Happy Birthday.  You deserve an extra special note on the blog because I neglected to call you on your actual birthday.  I am a terrible person.

6 months news

Saturday, April 11th, 2009

Lily had her 6 month check-up last Thursday:

Height: 28 inches (99th percentile)

Weight:  18 pounds 14.25 ounces (94th percentile)

Head Circumference:  45 cm (99th percentile)

She is our growing girl!

We are now starting to feed her solids.  She has been eating rice cereals for almost 2 weeks now.  We just introduced apple sauce.  She is intrigued by this new flavor.  We are introducing foods very slowly (no more than one new food every three days, says the doctor).

And, most importantly…
