So, I want to enter one of Lily’s baby pics in a local “Cutest Baby Contest” to win her a savings bond!  I know I could just pick a picture – but it doesn’t matter what I think is cute, it matters what other’s think…

Lily & The Remote

“Avocados always confuse me at work.”

• Another weekend come and gone so quickly!
• I started swimming again and hope to get in better shape.
• Andy has a mountain bike race next Sunday.
• I have a busy tutoring week.
• Lily got up on all fours today while on the bed.  Crawling soon?
• Lily’s two little teeth are VERY visible.
• Andy is sick again, but hopefully on the mend.
• High School Musical 3 was better than HSM 2, but not as good as the first.
• Lily has now eaten rice cereal, apple sauce, sweet potatoes, and bananas.
• Lily’s favorite toys are my cell phone and the remote control.  Oops.
• I surprised Andy and cleaned out the garage (the Honda Pilot now fits in it!) and mowed/cleaned the back yard.  We now have the grill out there and have used it twice already for burgers – yum yum!
• I got my first parking ticket of the year last week.
• Our tax return has not yet come
• I want to change the look of our blog, so don’t be surprised if there is a change soon.
• Lily is SO BIG.
• I finally realized what Britney Spears’s new song, “If U Seek Amy” means.
• I want to take some mommy/baby classes now that we are pretty good with our routine of getting around together, and to meet new moms.

When we say, “I’d like to, but I don’t have time,” what we’re really communicating in that statement is, “That particular activity is not a priority, so I’m spending my available time on something I consider more important.”

Strawberries dipped in sour cream and brown sugar.  Yum!  A must try.  I thought it sounded so weird at first.  Stawberries taste just get by themselves, right?  But, this is also delicious.
