3 Day Weekend!
To celebrate Valentine’s Day and Andy’s three day weekend, we actually built up the courage to go one night without our sweet baby girl. We left Lily at my mom’s house for a sleepover on Sunday night. What did we do?
We came home and made dinner together (chicken pesto panini sandwiches, yum yum)! Then, we went to get gelato for dessert. As we spent all evening talking about how much we missed our daugter, we decided to go visit her at my parent’s house after diner and dessert. We hung out for a bit up there and then came home to go to bed early. I actually did get some decent sleep (better than I have had in 5 months or so). However, it ws not as good as I had hoped. Apparently, waking up to feed Lily in the evening is not only for her sake. Going all night without feeding left me sore and “full” of milk… That is VERY painful! Hard as a rock. I was so tired that I didn’t get of bed and waited until 7am before I couldn’t take it any more and finally had to get up and pump out some milk. It was a more restful night than usual, but not perfect. Oh well. We tried

Andy and I missed her so much! It was hard to be away from her for one night!
