74 Days!

Here are the randoms of the week:

So, our little Pai Pai (her most common nickname from Andy and I) is 72 days old.  Wow!  Time flies.

She is beautiful.  Being a mom is everything I had hoped for and more!  I also am so fortunate to have a supportive husband and a supportive family to help me raise her.

Lily’s first Christmas is coming.  For the first time ever, I am pretty sure that I will be done with Christmas shopping before Christmas Eve.  Usually my dad and I spend hours on Christmas Eve shopping like crazy.  I am very excited for Christmas this year.  I love giving gifts.  Unfortunately, money is a little bit tighter this year due to a new baby and a new car (on only one income) – however, we are managing!

Would you like to sponsor me on my weight loss program?  Andy is my first sponsor.  I have set a daily goal (that will lead me to lose 25 pounds by April 8 – Lily’s 6 month birthday).  He is responsible for asking me every night “Have you met your goal today?”  If the answer is yes, he owes me a dollar.  This dollar gets put away into Lily’s savings account.  If the answer is no, Lily gets nothing.  However, I am keeping the particular goal private because it is something that I need to work on personally.  So, if you would like to help:  always feel free to ask me if I have met my goal that day.  If I can say yes, you owe Lily a dollar for her account!

My spelling has turned sour.  The further I get out of school, the worse it gets.  I used to be a wonderful speller, but not anymore.

I used the gift certificate that Lorna gave me for my birthday to get a manicure and pedicure last week.  How relaxing!  Shauna babysat Lily at Borders and I enjoyed an hour and a half to myself.

I wish Andy got more than 1 day off for Christmas!  Darn.

I very much miss playing poker.

Andy and I are starting Chess Club up again at Hoover after the holidays.  We are going to have it every other Tuesday until the end of the school year.  The kids are very excited to get back at it.
