Good to hear! You know what is lame though? Apparently this blog automatically changes it to a single space after I publish it. If you look, all of my spaces after periods are single — but I guarantee that they were double when I typed it!!!

Yeah, I still double space too, but I think the “new” way is single. I don’t like change!
Also, my friend uses Kirkland diapers for her new little girl and loves them.

1. Lily could not have been named Chloe or Avery! Maybe Lucy or …
2. According to the OSU Federal Style Guide “The usage of two spaces after a period is outdated and no longer used with digital print media.” (or something to that effect) Not that this means it is right.
3. As an online media designer/developer, I hate it when people use double spaces after periods and I have to edit their copy. It is such a formatting mess that it always throws me through a loop…a major pet peeve, since I’ve had to edit upwards of 500 pages of such stylistically-challenged work anyway. (Can you tell who’s had a long day?)

It IS MLA format – according to Sally, and she is the authority. Double spaces are the way to go.

APA format is one space.
