Almost ready…

September 13th, 2008 by stacey

We are almost completely ready for the arrival of Baby Lily (materialistically that is, I don’t know if you could ever be really ready.)  I have been anxiously awaiting the stroller/carseat combo that we ordered that is scheduled to come in this week.  Once we have that, I can install the carseat (take it to the police station to get it checked for safety) and then we will have everything prepared.  Only 33 days left (4 weeks and 5 days – that sounds sooner to me than saying 33 days.)

I feel like I want her to come soon – partially because I spend most of my days waiting and waiting.  I haven’t started any new projects or taken on too many students for tutoring, so time moves slowly for me.  Good thing Dad and I have Borders!

Andy’s mom is here this weekend.  She found an apartment yesterday at Witham Hill Oaks, hurray!  She will be moving up in a week or so and continue her job search if she hasn’t found one by that point.  Everything is coming together.

YOU ARE ON THE BLOGROLL!!!! And, I hate to burst your bubble, you know..but due dates are rarely accurate. I’d start walking and walking and walking and walking now..that’ll get her moving. and I put Logan into labor by (for real) cleaning the bathroom floor on my hands and knees. 1st babies…usuallly late…not mine…he was a week early!! HORRAY FOR SCRUBBING FLOORS!

I think I read that 5% of babies are born on their due dates. I know that my due date is probably even less “accurate” than usual since I went 6 months before being “diagnosed”!
